One of our day tours, and strongly recommended was Ronda city, Marbella and Puerta Banus. Ronda City is a city on a steep cliff with 35000 population dwelling over the edgy and beautiful surroundings. Popular Bollywood movie Zindagi Na Mile Dobaara shot some scenes here.

We went undressed for the trip as temperatures down near beachy areas (our base station) was getting pleasant (warmer) by the day. Nerja & Frigiliana was around the pleasant 20-22 degree. But Ronda at 2500 feet above sea level would be 10 degrees was something we missed checking on Google.

With little woolen covering we discovered during the bus route that Ronda would be very chilly. And lots of hugging would be required.
From the time we stepped out of the bus till about noon the hands threatened to stay frozen. We replanned and took and early lunch confining ourselves to warm restaurant temperatures.

Post lunch the mercury got more bearable we set foot to explore the city. The chill also meant we decided to walk up and down the slopes more to keep our bodies warm.

On our way down we saw plenty of the 62 golf courses – specially made to ensure Hollywood celebrities can literally play amidst the mountains with minimal disturbance.

Marbella has a high security area called La Zagaleta which has mansions of Vladimir Putin, Hugh Grant, George Clooney, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Rod Stewart to name just a few! This is zone for who’s who of the world to come and holiday. They all play at the famous Seve Ballesteros golf course.

Houses in this port city are well more mansions than houses. Some of them are constructed with helicopter pads!
Even Apartments for stay are too expensive to rent. The four and five-star properties cost up to 2000 Euros per week. The normal property price range here is between 2 million to 45 million euros.
or celebrity yatchs parked at Puerta Banus amidst sea of expensive restaurants and brand outlets
The port at Marbella is called Puerta Banus and a safe bet place to hunt Hollywood celebrities or millionaires holidaying in summer months.

The temperatures were super pleasant at Puerta Banus, the views magical
Amidst the sea of expensive yatches, cars, restaurants and outlets, we still managed to dig a cheap delicious restaurant, had our early evening snacks and left back for hotel. Thanks all for reading our Costa Del Sol experience, this was my concluding part of my blog series.
