The Indian squad which had won the Prudential World cup in 1983 had a large share of multi skilled players – Mohinder Amarnath, Sandeep Patil, Kapil Dev, Kirmani, Kirti Azad, Madan Lal, Roger Binny and Ravi Shastri.
